Gavin Weddle

When did your DJ career first begin? I started DJing in 2025 after growing up around the event industry my whole life. Being around music, DJs, and live events made it an easy career to fall in love with.

Why/how did you become a DJ?

I've always been obsessed with music, especially house music, and loved seeing how the right song can completely change the energy in a room. After spending years helping with events and learning the business from the ground up, becoming a DJ felt like the natural next step.

Describe your personal DJ/MC style?

Fun, upbeat, and crowd-focused. I like keeping the energy high, getting people involved, and making sure everyone is having a good time—whether it's a wedding, silent disco, corporate event, or a kids' party.

What are some notable accomplishments, awards or recognitions you have received throughout your DJ career?

I've had the chance to DJ everything from weddings and corporate events to silent discos and kids' events. I also help run our family event business and work in the warehouse, so I know events inside and out—from setup to the last song of the night.

What is your favorite thing about being a DJ?‍ ‍

Seeing people have a great time. Whether it's a packed dance floor, a kid singing along to their favorite song, or a couple celebrating a big moment, it's awesome knowing I helped create that experience.

Fun Fact: I played college basketball, so reading a crowd isn't that different from reading a defense—it's all about knowing when to make the right move.
